This story is about Miss Pool not being at school. All the children were looking for her. They looked in the playground, the library, the staffroom and the classroom but she wasn't there. She was at home in bed sick with a cold in her head.

This story is about a cat called Smokey, Smokey sleeps everywhere all day until at night she sleeps on the bed. I like this story because it is like my cat Misty she sleeps on my bed too.

This book is about James, Kate and Nick going to a merry-go-round with their Dad. James went on a pig, Kate went on a duck Dad told Nick to go on a car and a plane but he said no! He wanted to go on the horse so Dad said yes.

This is my favourite page because he is pointing at the car and I would like to go in the car too.

My Accident by Jenny Giles.

This book is about a boy who fell off his skateboard. The ambulance came and took him to hospital where he had a x-ray. He broke his arm so they put it in plaster. When he went home his mum and dad gave him a helmet to wear every time he goes on his skateboard. My favourite part was when he got a helmet because you need a helmet to keep you safe.

This is a non-fiction book about eggs and what animal is inside the egg like a chicken and an ant. I liked this book because I liked seeing all the different eggs and what animals were inside. I would read this book again.

Reflections T3W4 Book Week

This week at school has been Book Week we took part in lots of different activities.

Golden Ticket

This week we have been trying to find the Golden Ticket which Mrs Costello has been hiding. There was a prize for the lucky person who found it. I had fun hunting for it but I never found it.

Door Display

Every class decorates their door on a book theme. Our class chose The BFG and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The BFG has very long green legs and a shelf with potions on, we also wrote our dreams on peices of paper. On our other door is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory we made an Umpaa Lumpaa, decorated lollipops and candy canes. 

Book Character Day

On Friday everyone dresses up as their favourite book charater. I chose to be a scooter rider. The teachers were dressed up as characters from Harry Potter, they made me laugh.
