Writing.

In writing I wrote a recount of my weekend. I enjoyed doing this writing.

Numeracy

In numeracy I have been learning my number bonds to 10. I have been using a ten frame to add and subtract two numbers.

In numeracy this week I am learning to add two numbers putting the biggest number first then count on using my number line. I thought it is getting easier with more practice.

Writing

In writing this week I wrote about what I did at the weekend with my friend Curtis. I enjoyed writing.

Shantytown.

This week Shantytown came to visit school. I had to dress up as an early settler, we learnt how to trade and barter like in the olden days.

In Mamaku we have a reading challenge I have read 5 books out of 30, I have enjoyed reading and blogging about what I have read.

In numeracy I learnt to find the biggest number and then add on. I found it tricky to find the number on the 100 square.
